Project: Moved Motor Sport Search Engine Marketing Campaign
Timeframe: 90 days
Project Timeline: 2007-05-19 to 2007-08-01
We took 74 days to complete this search engine marketing project, completing it 16 days before its deadline.
Moved Motor Sport had only a temporary web page up and thought that while their web site was being developed that it would be a good idea to start moving up the search engine ranks.
With minimal content and search engine optimisation on their web site since it was only a temporary web page, they were quite suprised with their rankings shortly after we had started the search engine marketing campaign. Not only that, but as we continued with their link exchanges and web directory submissions, their rankings just got better and better.
With their temporary web page still active, they are currently holding position 1 for three of their competitive keyphrases. They are also ranking 2nd and 3rd (as well as both 2nd and 3rd for some!) for another 6 of their keywords / keyphrases. For yet another 5 keyphrases and keywords they are also still listed in page 1 of Google's results page.
What was even more suprising was when they started ranking internationally on the Yahoo search engine for certain keyphrases and keywords.
They are very happy with the results and cannot wait to commence phase 2 of the search engine marketing campaign when their proper web site is complete full of informational pages and complete with search engine optimisation.
