By default, all shared webhosting and reseller accounts have only one shared IP address and no dedicated IP address. You can find your site's current IP in the left hand menu of the main page of cPanel.
A dedicated IP change requires 4 hours to resolve. Your site may appear to be down during that time. You will NOT need to change your name servers.
Shared Web Hosting has only one cPanel. So you can have only one dedicated IP. If you choose the dedicated IP, all of your addon and subdomains will use the dedicated IP. Emails will still use the shared IP. The Business plan may claim a free dedicated IP address, and Baby plans may purchase a dedicated IP address. The Hatchling plan may not have a dedicated IP.
Resellers have potential for unlimited IPs (one for each cPanel). Just create the cPanel first, then submit the online form. If you choose the dedicated IP, all of your addon and subdomains within the same cPanel will use the dedicated IP. Emails will still use the shared IP.
SEO hosting users get a set number of shared IPs (separate c-class). We do not normally sell dedicated IPs, but you may email sales@seohosting.com and request a price quote. Please note that we do not guarantee that the dedicated IPs will be on different c-classes for SEO hosting accounts. VPS can come with 2, 4, 8, 16, or 32 dedicated IPs when you order the VPS plan. (One of the IPs is a shared IP by default.) VPS plans also have potential for unlimited IPs; no need to create the cPanel first. Just email sales@osirion.co.za to request more dedicated IPs. All of your addon and subdomains within the same cPanel will use the same IP. Emails will use a dedicated IP.
