Joomla 1.5 in Quickinstall

Joomla Hosting and Install

If you are looking to install Joomla 1.5, never fear. This version is back, but only via a special debug mode and only via Quickinstall.

Osirion will not be providing any further updates for 1.5 and that we recommend using 1.6.

If you want 1.5, regardless of our warnings, please do the following:

1. Login to cPanel
2. Visit the File Manager
3. Go to the home directory (up one level from public_html)
4. Navigate to inside /.cpanel/quickinstall/
5. Create an empty file named "debug" (not a folder, and no file extension like .txt)

All done! Just go to the QuickInstall icon and click "Joomla" and then click the "Continue" button. Now you can choose the version from a "App Version" drop-down.
